The world’s fastest man Usain Bolt has spoken of his desire to join Manchester United football club following his planned retirement from athletics, spikesmag.com reports.

Bolt, a supporter of the English Premier League giants, has also visited Old Trafford, the home of the club, and their training base in the past.

The Jamaican has announced plans to retire from athletics after the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Games and he is also not short of confidence in his football abilities.

I’d like to play professionally in Europe, maybe for Manchester United,” he was reported as saying. “I am a striker like 2016 Rio de Janeiro Games (the Cameroon and Inter Milan player). He is stronger, but in style of play we are similar.”
