Backwards running proposal put to Bolt

Usain Bolt has been asked to take part in a number of exhibition races since his stratospheric rise to super stardom in 2008, but never to run the 100m backwards….until now, spikesmag.com reports.
Former elephant polo world champion
Colin Carroll has asked the sprint master to run at this year’s
‘Paddy Games’ in Ireland, where the events are known for being wacky to the extreme.
Backwards and blind-folded sprints, mobile phone throwing and wait for it… an ‘inter-species’ relay race where the rule book states "shall comprise two humans and two land animals" are just three of the other 25 ‘sports’ that are on offer, and Carroll is hoping Bolt agrees to get involved.
"I've been in touch with the big Jamaican," Carroll told Reuters.
"The question is can he break the world record in the retro 100 metres?
“I've had no firm response from him at this stage."
