What has been the greatest moment of your life?
SM: Obviously, winning the (Olympic) silver medal and doing my victory lap.
What colour is Wednesday?
SM: Oh, when you said what colour, I thought of red because that is my favourite colour.
How much money have you got in your pocket at the moment?
SM: Zero cents!
If your house was on fire what is the one thing that you would save?
SM: Photos and my medals.
If you could have any superpower what would it be?
SM: Probably to be able to predict what is going to happen in the future.
What is your karaoke tune?
SM: Something from Abba, maybe Mama Mia.
What is the best tip anyone has ever given you about anything?
SM: "You're here because you deserve to be." My coach said that.
Who's the most famous person on your mobile?
SM: Melinda Gainsford-Taylor, the 1995 World Indoor 200m champion.
When was the last time you cried?
SM: The other day when I was stressing about the new house (at the time of the interview she had just bought a new house)
What was the name of your childhood pet?
SM: Pumpkin - a ginger cat
What was your favourite toy when growing up?
SM: Barbie. Once I was trying to dry her hair after I'd given her a wash and put her in front of a heater and her hair just seized up. I was very upset. She became ugly and one of my worst Barbies.
What is the most expensive phone bill you have ever wracked up?
SM: I'm not too bad actually. It was about $300 when I was in Beijing. Bloody Beijing.
If you could play another sport what would it be and why?
SM: Golf, tennis or men's football because they get lots of money!
