What did you have for breakfast today?
HF: Oatmeal and toast. Sometimes I have some organic cornflakes, but not today.
What is the strangest thing a fan has ever said to you?
HF: Man. I get stuff all the time.
This person emailed me to say, ‘you have now officially passed the baby mama audition.’ I have no clue who this guy but he said he was one of my fans.
What is the least favourite part of your body?
HF: It probably would be my traps (trapezius muscle) because they look like man traps.
What is the one thing you have to take around you on the athletics circuit?
HF: I always take this ring of my grandmothers. It’s her High School ring. I’ve had it since Sixth Grade. You will probably see it in quite a few pictures.
Which athletics nation has the coolest kit?
HF: Let’s see. I think Brazil. I like all the fancy writing on it. It has got a lot going on. It stands out a lot and people really want to trade with them.
If you weren’t an athlete what would you be doing with your life?
HF: I’d probably be a family service worker because that’s what I got my degree in and I have such a passion for kids.
What is the worst thing you’ve ever worn?
HF:
MC Hammer pants. They were stonewashed MC Hammer pants. I was probably in Fifth grade. I thought it was the coolest thing but when I look back at the pictures I should not have worn them.
What is the greatest moment of your life so far?
HF: Standing on the medal stand and receiving my Olympic medal and my coach being there to see me do it.
If your house was on fire what is the one thing that you would save?
HF: Probably my dog. A Japanese Chin.

f you could have any superpower what would it be?
HF:
To read minds. A lot of people think I should be a mind reader.
What colour is Wednesday?
HF: Oh wow! I don’t know. We don’t have colours for days
What would be your karaoke tune?
HF: One of my best friends loves karaoke. I would say something by Alicia Keys.
Who is the most famous person on your mobile?
HF: It would have to be Jackie Joyner-Kersee.
What was your favourite toy when you were growing up?
HF
I liked The Smurfs. I had a huge Smurf.

f you could play another sport what would it be and why?
HF: I would like to bobsled. I think it would be cool to be a bobsledder.
What would be your perfect day?
HF: Shopping and going to get my nails and feet done. I love to train, but the perfect day would be no training.
