What did you have for breakfast today?
Peanut butter on toast.
What is the least favourite part of your body?
Probably my finger nails, because I bite them.
What is the one thing you have to take with you around the athletics circuit?
My mobile phone, so I can stay in touch.
If you could star in another athletics event other than your own what would it be and why?
It would be the middle distances, probably the 1500m and the mile. Everyone talks about breaking the four-minute barrier for the mile. That would be fantastic.
If you weren’t an athlete what would you be doing now?
I don’t really know because I’ve always wanted to be an athlete.
What’s been the greatest moment in your life so far?
Probably winning the semi-final of the World Championships in a new PB (48.27)
What colour is Wednesday?
Blue. It’s the first colour that came into my head.
What is your favourite karaoke tune?
I don’t have one (spikesmag.com thinks it’s a little weird a Welshman famed for his singing doesn’t have a karaoke tune).
If you could play another sport what would it be and why?
It would have to be football because that was my first love.
What is your theme tune?
Something from Muse’s new album.
If you could have one superpower what would it be?
I’d like to fly.
How much money have you got in your pockets at the moment?
Nothing – I’m at home.
Who is the most famous person on your mobile?
Probably Craig Pickering (Great Britain 100m sprinter).
What was your favourite toy when growing up?
Probably my Ninja Turtle figurines.
What is the worst thing you’ve ever worn?
I’ve got a pink shirt in my wardrobe that some would see as not so great.
If you could save one thing if your house was on fire what would it be?
My laptop.
If you could five dinner party guests who would they be and why?
My girlfriend, Sian, Ryan Giggs, the Welsh international footballer, and Michael Johnson. He would be a great person to have around. Actor Heath Ledger, too, because he’s dead and I really liked him in Batman. I’d also have David Beckham so my girlfriend could have someone to chat to.
