Barbora Spotakova sits the Pop Quiz

What did you have for breakfast today?
Nothing because I had to get up at 4.30am this morning because our plane was flying at 6am. I am not in a good mood if I don’t eat in the morning.

If you had a film about your life, who would be the actress that would play you?
It is really hard. I would have to choose the girl. Someone tells me about a girl who looks exactly like me, some girl from Czech Republic, maybe she should do it.

What is the strangest thing a fan has ever said to you?
Sometimes they have said they will give me a beer keg if I win. I think I have won maybe four beer kegs, so it is motivating.

What is the one thing you have to take around athletics circuit?
I am not a person who has to rely on things, so I’m not too down if I forget something. I like my small animal toy from the film Madagascar - the lemur who thinks he's the king of the jungle. I want to travel to Madagascar with my boyfriend. Sometimes he likes to be hidden at the back and out of sight at the meetings, not like the lemur in the movies.

If you weren’t an athlete what would you be doing?
I still study ecology at an agriculture university, so if I wasn’t an athlete maybe something in ecology and agriculture.

If you could have any superpower what would it be and why?
I would like to be invisible. I would like to visit my high school because everyone behaves differently to me [because she is Olympic champion] and I would just like to see how things are really. I don’t like people who change their opinion. I don’t think I have changed with popularity. I don’t like people who suddenly now think I’m great. They’re fake and I don’t like fake.

If you were an animal what would you be and why?
I think I was a dog in my last life because dogs really love me. I am a dog’s mother. I think I understand them.

What would be your karaoke tune?
American Pie, I like this song but it is very long and very difficult.

Who is the most famous person on your mobile phone?
Jan Zelezny and Pavel Kolar our famous physiotherapist who has worked with the Czech soccer and ice hockey teams.

What was your favourite toy when growing up?
Any sort of animals – a toy zoo with animals.

If you could play another sport what would it be and why?
Maybe tennis. I don’t know if I’m able to though, I smash the racquets because I cannot handle my emotions. Maybe, I could learn it. It is not nice if someone is yelling around the court. I would have to control. In javelin training I kick the grass and kick my bag when things do not go well.
