We're still on the road! I cannot believe that I have not been in my own bed in almost three weeks. I miss my comfy bed but I am having a good time out here. I have actually spent more time in other people’s homes than on the road.
I am back in Atlanta now, which was the first place we landed on this road trip. After I left Charlotte, North Carolina, where we stayed for a week, I spent five days up in Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. I have seen almost everybody that I am related to. It has been great to reconnect with so much of my family. I had a great time with them but I had to leave sometime.
So, last night was my first night back in the truck and my body is sore this morning. I guess I thought it was more comfortable before I started staying in other people’s houses and beds. Right now I am having breakfast in the Petro Travel Stop in Atlanta. I am having the buffet and I do not think it is sitting well with my stomach. It will be just my luck to get sick and have to ride in that bumpy truck! We are about to head home in a few days and I will be glad to be in my own bed and shower again. The showers here are quite small! Not that I am big or anything but I like to move around and have space to get clean.
Oh!!! And the worst thing happened… I lost my air card! I had an air card that allowed me to get online anytime throughout the trip. I could get on even while driving in the truck because wi-fi does not work while you’re moving. Well, its gone and now I have to pay for wi-fi at this truck stop. I hate spending money!!
Oh well, I am on vacation; I can spend a little money I suppose. Plus, if I did not spend the money how would all of you know where I am? I know you could not sleep at night if you were unable to read my blog! I am really spending the extra cash for YOU! So, if anyone ever feels they would like to reimburse me, feel free I accept cash, money orders, and credit cards, no checks please! Hahahahahaha… Well, I’ll be back soon.
